I particularly enjoyed the scene where he talks about his nose and how he sticks up for himself and really is comfortable in his own skin and insults the guy staring at his nose saying you arent man enough to have a nose like mine.

The scene from the movie that I liked the best was when he as talking with his lady friend and it appears that she is flirting with him. I thought it was sad when she introduced her love Christian and as viewers we could see how much that hurt and intrigued him. I think that was the turning point in the story and look foreard to seeing future interactions between him and his friend.

A scene I liked was the scene where Cyrano took on the 100 men trying to kill the poet. I thought it added how brave and courageous Cyrano can be when he wants to, which could come in handy later in the story and he might reveal his love for Roxanne to her.

A scene I thought was interesting was when Roxanne sees Christian in town and Cyrano is right behind him around the corner. It is kind of symbolic of the way he is in control of this situation and his feelings. It will be interesting to see how she feels when she finds out the truth.

I liked the scene in the beginning when Cyrano is dueling the other man and composing the poem at the same time. It shows how witty he is, and also how skilled he is in a fight. An overall good display of his character.

I thought the scene where Christian rudely comments on Cyrano’s large nose and rather than killing Christian, Cyrano embraces him and reveals that he is Roxane’s cousin. He reveals Roxane’s love for Christian and then Christian excitement quickly turns to worry. He admits that he simply cannot write to Roxane because he is too stupid—he thinks she will lose all feeling for him the moment she reads his words. Then Cyrano has an idea and offers to write letters for Christian and although he says he is only interested in practicing his poetry writing, he secretly burns for the opportunity to express his feelings to Roxane. Christian undoubtedly agrees. I think it will be interesting to see if Roxane finds out of her true admirer.

I like the scene shortly after Cyrano ebrasses Christian, where they make a deal that Cyrano borrows Christian's handsomeness. While, on the other hand, Christian borrow's Cyrano's way with words. I do think it to be a bit odd that Cyrano likes his cousin Roxanne. But maybe they're distant cousins or it was just the time period back than to like a relative. But I really want to see what happens between these three characters. They all make for one hell-of a story. :P

I like the scene where Cyrano find out that Roxanne like Christian. Even thought it was very sad scene, they expression of Roxanne and Cyrano was really good. It is like love triangle. Now, I can’t wait till find out that Cyrano like Roxanne likes Christian and I wonder if Christian liked someone else or Roxanne.

The scene that I liked was the first time that Roxanne and Christian meet. Roxanne feel in love with Christian through the letters the Cyrano was writing to her. Cyrano is writing them for Christian giving him the appearance of being smart. Roxanne had high hopes for Christian and all he wanted to do was kiss her. Roxanne told Christian to leave her alone. This scene is important because it shows that Roxanne will not fall for someone who is only good looking but he must also be smart. Christian is only good looking but Roxanne has yet to find that out.

The scene I actually liked the best was the scene where he's sword fighting while reciting a poem BUT my second favorite scene is where Cyrano is taking the role of Christian while Roxane is up in her balcony. Everything he says is just so moving and thus far in the play he's able to be the one to express his love verbally without restraint despite Roxane thinking its Christian in the dark. But Cyrano's role in Christian's progress over winning Roxane's love is just another way Cyrano can indirectly have Roxane's love and express his own in return. That through Christian he's capable of living the life he so despairingly thinks he can't have because of his appearance.

I really liked when Christian was dying and Cyrano says I told her everything and she says she loves you. That was so cute to me, here is this guy who loves her so much but would put that aside to help these to people and even though this other guy had what he longed for Cyrano still wanted to see him happy. I think it just added to how great and nice of a guy Cyrano was and how much he gave up for others to be happy, even his own wants and wishes.

I liked the ending scene because even though it was overly dramatic and really long, it showed Roxanne that Cyrano was the poet writer all along. Cyrano knew exactly what was on “Christian’s” last letter, and he also gave an eloquent speech before he died. I thought that it was a good ending because although Cyrano denied loving Roxanne, she was able to discern his true feelings for her through his beautiful poetry.

My favorite scene in this movie was when Christian and Roxanne were in the garden outside the party and she was asking him to talk to her. He is a very handsome man, but relies on Cyrano for "the right things to say." All he can say to her is that he loves her, but Roxanne wants a more ellaborate answer. Who she really wants to hear is Cyrano but she doesn't know that Christian is using his words as his own. This scene was important to the overall theme in the movie that Cyrano will help anyone, even if he has to sacrifice what he really wants.

My favorite scene in the movie was when Roxanne received the letter from Comte de Guiche saying he was coming to marry her immediately. When she read the letter out loud, she changed the words so it made it sound as if it was an order from Comte de Guiche for her and Christian to marry right away. When the Comte came, Cyrano stalled him from entering in the middle of the wedding. I thought this portrayed Cyrano's true feelings for Roxanne because he was helping her get what she wanted, which was to marry Christian instead of Comte de Guiche.

I liked the scene that showed how Cyrano writes to Roxane every day under Christian's name. The scene also showed how he would run through the Spanish lines to find a place to send his letter and risk his life daily. This scene shows how much Cyrano is in love with Roxane because he knows that Roxane loves getting romantic letters from Christian and he knows that it keeps both Christian and Roxane happy for the time being if Roxane thinks Christian is writing the letters.

I enjoyed the very first scene in the movie when Roxane is first introduced. This is because it is the first time that all of the characters are shown, and the beauty of Roxane is what the men were attracted to. I also liked this scene because it showed the first interaction between Cyrano and Christian. The movie had a lot to do with comparing beauty with intelligence. I believe that this first scene shows how important beauty is in the eyes of Cyrano and Christian.

  17. I liked the scene when Cyranoo slowly dieing and he and christian are deciding who Roxanne loves and who should be with her. It just goes to show how two friends fight and share and can give love up so easily yet still be happy with one another.

My favorite scene in the movie was when Christian was delivering a letter from Cyrano to Roxanne's house and she noticed him walking back and tried to run after him. While Christian wanted to stop and talk Cyrano grabbed him and they both started playing a hiding game which was quite amusing and entertaining. I think it added to the play by showing the two sides of the men that they are trying to put into one perfect guy. One has the looks but is dumbstuck by women while the other may be a little off in looks but is smart with what to do with situations.

My favorite scene was when Cyrano was reading the letters out loud to Roxane. Though she had read them with passion the first time, it was as though they came alive when the writer read them aloud with his own voice. It was very apparent at that point that the letters were written by Cyrano and not Christian as though she thought.

My favorite scene in the movie is when the Father arrives from the church with a letter from Compte de Guiche. The Father cannot read, so Roxanne changed the wording of the letter so that she could marry Christian. It adds to the play to show just how far people will go for someone they love.

The scene from the movie that I liked the most would be when Cyrano got hit with the log. I liked this scene because it was very dramatic and filled with action. I also liked this scene because it lead to the final scene where Cyrano reads the poem and his cousin finds out who really wrote the poem.

The scene that I liked from the play was the when Roxanne comes to see Christian during the war and she tells Christian that she likes his soul and she now thinks he is ugly. This was an interesting way for her to prove that she really loves Christian. I thought this scene was important because she doesn’t know it but she truly loves Cyrano’s soul and not Christian’s. At this point it made you wonder if she would ever find out that Cyrano was the one who wrote all the letters to her.

A scene I particularly liked from the movie was the scene in which Cyrano has his usual Saturday meeting with Roxanne, despite the fact that he was brutally bashed on the head by a giant beam. This scene greatly shows how Cyrano's loyalty and love for Roxanne never wavered throughout the entire story, even though he never had the courage to tell her how he felt. It's sad though that she had to find out about his true feelings right before he died.

I liked the scene where Cyrano spoke to Roxanne as Christian. It amazes me how easy it was to trick her because when Cyrano was talking about love it sounded a lot like him. She should have been able to put the clues together to figure out who she really loved. This shows the theme that even though looks of a man may be attractive to women, if he doesn't have a brain then it doesn't matter what the man looks like.

First off I know somebody already did this scene but its too late and im too lazy to find another one. So I enjoyed the scene where Cyrano got his with the log in the head because its one of the only exciting scenes of the movie and actually captured my attention for a couple quick seconds. Im not sure what theme that might have developed, other than the theme of everyone trying to eliminate Cyrano, but the movie was good, odd but alright. Would like to see more nose.

I liked the scene where she finally figures out that Cyrano was behind the letters. I thought that, even though it was a little too late, that she finally learned the truth and learned that Cyrano was the true romantic between the two men. It plays to the theme that Cyrano is the consummate gentleman. Because at first, he denies it, saying it was Christian, sticking to the agreement made long ago. However, he in a way concedes it was him as she insists that she knows it was him. I just thought this scene was particularly gripping.

I know this scene was mentioned but I loved it when cyrano and roxane were speaking in poetry and cyrano was speaking as Christian. I thought that the way they spoke in poetry was so beautiful. I thought that it went to the theme because to showed cyrano and roxanes inner beauty how that can instill more pure live then that of outer superficial beauty. Christian was very good looking and was a brave person but I also felt that the bravery of cyrano was also different because he was selfless. He preferred to help Christian and roxane live a false love them throwing Christian under the bu and having roxane feel betrayed. I lived the movie and I thought it was a beautiful but tragic play.

  28. My favorite scene in the movie was when Cyrano was in battle and was being shot at while running past the groups of Spanish soilders. I liked it because he was putting his life on the line for Christian because he was supposed to write to her everyday. I thought it was a scene where we saw the true character in Cyrano and that he was a good man with a good heart. Overall I thought that it was a very intreguing story although I found it sad that Cyrano never got the love of his life.

My favorite scene was the one where the guy with no brains was trying to kiss her but she said his lack of words made him as if he were ugly. it definitly shows the difference between a boy and a man, and though the movie shows a bunch of him entrancing her, it also showed guys a perfect example of how NOT to act, and how looks are defintly not everything
